It is interesting to remember that, like you, Fancy began of humble origins. Their portrait artist would hardly recognize the three infants deposited on the doorstep of an upstate mansion, at the mercy of those within.

Toothless, crawling and incontinent, these creatures were for years confined to separate wings of the estate, hidden from reminders of their heathen past. So complete was their isolation that when Thomas later discovered hidden passageways leading him to Jorgen and Kevin, he had forgotten them entirely.

His diary, salvaged from a catastrophic fire a decade later, records his first historic observation of Jørgen, made as he sat in a crawl space and peered through the cut out eyes of a lurid tapestry:

"Quisnam est ut fossor?" [1]

So it was, weeks later, with Kevin. Meeting in secret, these three schemed many schemes. Some they have accomplished; others remain unfinished. And though it was there in torch-lit passageways that the blueprint for Fancy was drawn, it is here they invite you to enter.
